Hunter's Honeymooners
When the honeymooners come they come to chill, lounge under the sun, spend long, warm evenings eating al fresco and maybe if the mood takes them, make a few casual sightseeing trips. Nothing hurried or planned. They will have found a chilled bottle of bubbly in the fridge, and a welcome pack to ease them into the winding down process. Sun loungers dressed and towels prepared. Once recumbent pool side, glass in hand, all preoccupations are bathed away by the warmth of the sun and the honeymoon begins.
Some of our honeymooners have kindly allowed me to post a pic. of their wedding day on our site. We are proud to say that they spent their honeymoon at Hunters Lodge and we would like to thank them for trusting us to make it a special occasion they will always remember.

We've had the most amazing honeymoon we probably could have ever imagined! Hunters Lodge is quite simply stunning. If this is what heaven looks like, I'm gon' die one happy lady.
Highlights include:
- eating gelato in Sarnano
- snorkelling the coves at Portonovo
- spotting wild boar from the loggia (8.30pm)
- our most delicious meal ever at San Fabiano
Thank you so much for such a wonderful and comfortable stay. We hope to return again (maybe in cooler weather ...... 40 degrees urgh!)

A honeymoon of dreams
A perfect place to spend our honeymoon and we are looking forward to coming back for our 1st anniversary. Lynne and Ken are the perfect hosts (but at the same time, only there if you need them) and Hunters Lodge is everything we wished for and more. Hunters Lodge is a slice of heaven that couldn't fail to live up to anyone's expectations if you are looking for privacy, romance, tranquillity and relaxation. Thank you for everything, truly a memory we won't ever forget.

Gualdo hosts a Wedding
We've also hosted a wedding in Gualdo. The viale in Gualdo was the setting for a magnificent outdoor wedding. Always a risk of bad weather whatever time of the year. On this occasion it paid off; it was a beautiful hot, sunny day and the trees provided plenty of dappled shade. The couple were married in the local comune (council office) followed by a blessing in the church and all of the services were provided by the local businesses - the wedding lunch by Ristorante Cicco', canapes and beverages by Bar Carletti, the flowers by Cristiano at Oasi Verde and the fruit and cheese displays by Massimo from the minimarket.
